The AMTA Lexicography Assistant is an academic research tool designed to prioritize user data privacy and adhere strictly to Google's User Data Policy. This policy explains what data the Add-on accesses, how it is used, and confirms what data is not collected.
DATA MINIMIZATION AND CORE PRINCIPLE
The Add-on is designed to process data ephemerally to run its core functions. We DO NOT collect, store, share, or sell any Personal Identifiable Information (PII), sensitive user data, or your email address for any secondary purpose.
The AMTA Lexicography Assistant requests access to the following scopes to perform its core function: the automated data pipeline for dictionary compilation. Access is strictly limited to the necessary functions described below:

Justification: This scope is used solely to read the specific Corpus JSON file selected by the user to serve as the source data, and to save the final exported files (XML/CSV/JSON) generated by the pipeline directly into the user's Drive, as requested by the user's action.

Justification: The application reads and writes data strictly within the active spreadsheet where the Add-on is invoked. This is necessary to retrieve the "Domain Input" term and write the final processed corpus statistics and results back to the sheet.
MANDATORY LIMITED USE DISCLOSURE:
The AMTA Lexicography Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to **Google API Services User Data Policy**, including the **Limited Use requirements**. Specifically, we will only use Google data (including data from Google Sheets and Drive) to provide or improve user-facing features within this Add-on, and we **will not** transfer or sell user data for any other purpose, including serving personalized advertisements.
To generate definitions, gather academic references, and retrieve necessary data, the Add-on acts as a secure relay by sending the user's search term (the "Domain Input" from the sheet) to the following academic and research APIs:
User Responsibility: Use of the Add-on implies acceptance of the Privacy Policies and Terms of Service of the respective third-party APIs listed above.
